iRay matte setting?

I was trying to get an object to stop being glossy and refective. It's a poser prop. Converted to Uber Base iRay. There is so many gloss and reflection options in iray I don't know what one to turn off or down or up. I have wood, stone and carpet in my scene. Aged, and old. I do not want them to look like they just got waxed. lol.. I need them as flat as possible, with only bump and displacment values. Can anyone tell me how to achieve this?

I'm also having problems where Primitive planes do not show up in iray. No matter their setting. Anyone else have that issue?

I find it often helps to change the model to Matte in the Daz Default surface settings before converting to the Iray Base.

Within the Iray Shader, adjusting the Glossy Roughness and Glossy Layered weight seems to help. Also worth play with increasing the bump to about double.

No problem w/ planes being visible here.

    1. Create Primitive

    2. Plane

2b (Diffuse Color (if you want different from white)

    3. Create camera

    4. Render
