[Released] Now-Crowd Billboards - Steampunk Empire [Commercial]
Journey across the world and across time to a forgotten age, or perhaps an age that never was, to an age of refinement, of Victorian sophistication, of the Steampunk Empire! Paint your Victorian or Steampunk scenes FULL of gentlemen, ladies, and the working class in high quality, flexible, and easy-to-use billboards. Now-Crowd Billboards - Steampunk Empire is perfect as a backdrop for the main action that you add!
Billboards are a fantastically quick and resource-easy way to add background crowds to your scenes. These pre-rendered elements are great to play the background characters in your scene. Now-Crowd Billboards improve on standard billboards by providing 72 different views for every billboard figure. Change a billboard figure to 12 different horizontal angles and 6 different vertical angles. When your camera moves, the Now-Crowd Billboards can be changed to match!
There are also great scripts to make these billboards easy to use! There is one script to turn the billboards to face the camera and another script to change billboard figure angle based on horizontal and vertical orientation. Finally, there is a script that pushes your billboard directly away from your camera view or pulls it towards you.
For Iray and 3Delight.
No figures are included with this product.
No other products are needed to use Now-Crowd Billboards products.
Note that Now-Crowd Billboard products are large (> 10GB) because of the many textures (72 images per figure x number of figures) and can take a while to download.

Your billboards are among my favourites of you products! Very excited for this one. The only problem is that your billboards look so much better than my actual characters!
Thank you! This is one I have wanted to do for a long time.
looking forward to this.
It will come in very handy for a set of victorian/steampunk images
Thank you! I think you will like it!
And it is released!
In my cart now. Thank you for your hard work on this package.
Another awesome Now-Crowd set! I love steampunk, and now we can fill up the scenes properly :)
You're welcome! Thank you for the support.
Thanks! I have been waiting for a steampunk one myself
Used a few to fill out the background in this scene
Cool! Thank you for sharing!
Has anyone else had issues where some of the billboards get an error in da when trying to load - "The files below could not be found: /data/Riversoft Art/Now-Crowd Billboards - Stempunk Empire/ ..."
Its not all, nor even most, just a few (Man checking time - Man Talking aand Walking are two off the top of my head). A black square loads instead.
I've been hoping for an update but this problem has been around since I purchased itr when it came out.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing and also no-joy.
If you look in your content library, does the file then exist at that path?
And if not, if you open DIM (assuming you are using DIM for installation), it can list the files in the product, and where installed. Does it list the file as installed?
Sounds like you need to get the update. The Gentlemen product was updated on 6/13 with the missing files.
Thank you for your assistance. I see the update for Gentlemen on 6/16 in DIM. But its only showing one file as updated?
I'll trry uninstalling everything and reinstalling. Maybe the update was ganked.
I let DIM do everything automatically so no custom folders or such.
Same issue after reinstall.
I checked the offending folder /data/RiversoftArt/now-crowd builboards.../Man Walking an ttalking and I see a DSON file in the folder.
Any other workarounds to try?
Checking the folders that are working, it seems all the ones that are not working don't have a UV set folder.
In DIM, I just downloaded and installed the one package (did not uninstall the other stuff first):
The files are there.
Thank you for your help. I Solved it by manually downloadng the zips and manually copyng the UV folders that were missng to the installed folders.
I'm sure it was user error of some sort, but I'm at a loss as to what.
DIM install wouldn't work, manual would.
Anyhow, all good, love the product, really appreciate the help, thanks again.
You're welcome! I am glad you got it working now.
