"Selective" puppeteering

The puppeteer is an amazingly effective feature.

But it is a "sledgehammer" that captures 100% of the current state of the figure, it appears across all the myriad possibilities that this figure posesses.  For greatuer utility, it would be great to capture a part of the current state of a figure.

Is this possible?

As an example:

  • I'm currently tinkering with 4 different body shapes of a figure, which I'd like to be able to apply to any of the many psoes I have for that figure.
  • Creating a puppeteer point and then saving as a puppeteer preset is fine for capturing the shape in it's current pose - let's call that zero.

BUT

  • The captured file is thousands of lines long (specifically 4762 lines in my case), 4757 of which are largely redundant  "zero" lines defining the "zero" situation of the model, given all the loaded options, with only 5-ish lines specifying the uniqueness of this "puppet" pose.

Is there a way (other than offline editing) to capture into a puppeteer point or a save of the preset ONLY the non"zero" elements that are unique?
