Hi
I just bought this:
http://www.daz3d.com/wet-sweat-rain-for-genesis-2-female-s
I got very disappointed when it had little or no effect on my renders. I tried switching off UberEnvironment and that was it. Basic Headlamp, spotlight etc. looked great but no matter what I tried when loading Uber like tweaking in surfaces it never looked good and was very very subtle.
Is there a way to deal with this or is it money down the drain?
In the product description it states that this product works with any lighting. Could I get a refund maybe since it couldn't do what it promised?
I really want to use it but I don't want to change back to standard lighting.
Thanks in advance
Simon

I'm slightly confused. You mention headlamp which is an Iray light but uberenviroment is 3dl lighting as is the product. Are you trying to use it in Iray or 3dl?
The headlamp is just the default camera light when nothing else is on. I just tried the old basic lighting to test if it worked and it did but as soon as I turned Uber back on nothing (or very little) showed up.
I'm rendering in 3Delight.
Uberenviroment alone is not great with specularity and this product looks to be specularity driven. That is one possible explanation for it not giving you the results you want with the product. You might consider a spot or distant light in addition to an uberenviroment light. Of course that depends on the uberenviroment and how much light it is generating by itself.
I tried that and it gives little effect :(
I'm gonna try and turn down the intensity of Uber and use a spot and see if that gives results.
