Help with UVs please? [Image inside]

Hey there! :D

Im a little noob.. i want to export (obj) my model from daz to Modo, so i do it. In Modo i change the textures to a rock type (i want to make it look like a statue).

 

But they seem to get stretched: the face is OK, but the neck and the rest of the body.....

An example not rendered with Face/neck...

 

Its like tu Uvs are not good?

Any idea please?

    The area covered by the different UV maps varies -- the face map covers a smaller area than the body but uses the same sized map.  Genesis 3 UV maps have less size variance than earlier figures.

  • If you're retexturing the model anyway, you could go into the UV room in modo and click Pack UVs. (Uncheck Orient if you want all UVs to stay the same current rotation). That should help make them fairly consistent in size.
