G2 eyes shadow?

Not familiar with G2 figures, so trying to figure out what the eye shadows are. At first, I thought it meant makeup when I saw it on a G2F figure, but I just saw it on a G2M (Phillip) and now I'm not so sure.

    If I remember correctly, it is the shadow of the eyelashes on the eyeball.
