Converting MAT and POSE via save/preset questions ...

I've been spending the last few days converting old poser-format trolls (like DAZ Troll and LoRez Upland Troll) by using LSC for most items, then manually converting whatever didn't work well. Then I go back and manually convert any materials and poses. I know the very basic process for that, but not sure how to convert bump or how to mimic the left/right hand option. So far, I've been just saving them individually.

So, is bump a separate MAT? Do I save it the same way I do the skin? Because I don't see a bump option. Or don't work about bump until I do a scene and mess with it then?

Also ... Current Frame Only or Animated Range for poses? Which gives me the best result later. Or should I save both ways for each pose?
