Electro-Elvis – nice render of the TechUnit22
Horo – great render with the TechUnit, I fits the challenge.
Bunyip02 I like your entries, unique ideas, awesome results.
Another entry, Shiny Spheres 2. a simple one, the Hdri used is from Exotic Hdri for Fantasy skies (available at bryce-tutorials)
oh WOW, that looks like 2001 Space Odyssey
nice
+ 1
And nice Traffic Lights
more round spherical stuff to experiment with
Horo gave me an idea to actually remake the Discovery One from 2001 A Space Odyssey.
There are some issues with the model but no promises that I will fix it.soon :(
The shiphull in Wavefront OBJ format had to be trianguleted. sorry guys. This N-Gon geometry cannot be handled by Bryce.
enjoy
Bunnyip02 - thank you. The traffic lights are again a cool idea and well done.
mermaid - thank you - very nice scene with the coloured spheres.
Fettbemme - thank you. Cool Space Odyssey ship.
Thanks Horo
please redownload the fixed OBJ for Bryce.
I noticed I had the floordisk still in it and this N-Gon geometry is a bit too complex for Bryce so had to triangulate the shiphull. Everything else is still quads or N-Gons.
have fun
Fettbemme - the object looks very nice, thanks for sharing.
Horo - thanks
mermaid - Thanks ! Nice render
ed3D - Thanks !
Horo - Thanks !
Spider's Eyes
Dark Purple Orb Spider
yeah, I seen one of those occasionally
but they never shut up. they talk you to death.
Bunnyip02 - I am not a big fan of spiders but to look at one is ok and interesting, nice one from you.
Lol, bunyip, the streetlight is so clever.
Fettbeme, what a fabulous model. Much talent and thanks for sharing.
Horo, like your render of the space orb. Great matt on it.
Elvis, loving the red light glowing from your space orb and the first one with 3 shiny spheres looks so cool with the reflections that you achieved.
mermaid, lovely collection of shiny spheres. Is that material on the upper left an included material? I like how it's reticulating.
bunyip...spiders!!! gross.
fettbeme, excellent rendering of your space orb. Really nicely done.
Just in case. I want to clarify that I am doing this for fun. Not for any money. I'm retired now and have a bit time to spare. Don't donate any money to me. Give it someone else who needs it more than I do. I really like that part of the forum. Thanks for having me.
+ 1
Bunyip02 - another unusual idea to the theme, thinking out of the box, I too don't like spiders, but like your render. Thanks
NGartplay - thanks, it's the mirror material from the presets with a refraction of 50
Thank you NGartplay.
Fettbeme, whomever is pulled from the hat will win. If that is you, then I will gift it to you. If you don't want it once I announce it, then you can tell me whom you'd like me to give it to (in a PM.) Sound ok?
Yes, deal :)
:)
fettbeme - the spider can also tickle you to death with their fangs, thanks for the freebies
Horo - thanks !
NGartplay - thanks ! Spiders - mwahahaha
mermaid - thanks !
Hi guys
I finished the DISCOVERY-1 download here (93 MB) File
don't laugh - calling a spaceship DiscoVery... what the hell have they been smoking?
anyway
enjoy
Wow awesome work Fettbemme, the background is amazing
yeah, Google is your friendly foe
I used to do these a lot in Cinema 4D with volumetric lights only. but now with VDBs it's much, much faster and better looking
here is an old one (ZIP file is in Cinema 4D R19)
Fettbemme - very nice looking sci-fi scene and thanks for the file.
+ 1
Horo, NGartplay, Mermaid, Bunyip, Thank you.
Bunyip, Very nice work with the poolplaying monsters, great trafficlight and remarkable spider.
Fettbeme, Great work with the Discovery-remake. Also very well rendered. And thanks for the files. I made a render with your techunit. Put it in a stacked cube and then again in a cube. The outer cube has a polished silver texture and the actual sphere of the techunit has a brushed silver texture. I put a yellow light inside the techunit and put the shadows at a very low percentage to have the light shine through.
WOW turned out nicely
awesome
Well done Hansmar, cool idea.
I agree, well done Hansmar, amazing result.
