Hi
Does anyone know how to use the Pixiedust Wings For Gemesis Female 8 https://www.daz3d.com/pixiedust-outfit-wings-for-genesis-8-females on a Genesis Male 8 without creating terrible distortions as soon as the character moves?
It would really help me, thank you and have a nice day!

If you autofit the wings to G8M, the wings will be weighted to the base skeleton.
You could add new bones and weightpaint the wings accordingly.
My suggestion would be to put the wings in place and then parent them to the appropriate bone in G8M.
I'm not really sure how to do this.. If you don't mind, could you please explain how I can do it?
From start to finish:
1. Load G8M
2. Select G8M
3. Load the wing:
4. Cancel the autofit process:
5. Select the Chest Upper bone, the easiest way is to click on G8M's back in the viewport, between the wings:
6. On the scene tab, Chest Upper should now be visible so you can now drag the wings and drop them on Chest Upper:
In the end, your scene tab should look like this:
And the wings should follow your character:
As an alternative, a trick to bypass auto-fit for such a case of fitting G8F's wearable on G8M or vice versa:
- Load the wings into the scene with nothing selected. Edit - Object - Scene Identification.
- Change Preferred Base from /Genesis 8/Female to /Genesis 8/Male. Accept.
- Right click on Wings in Scene pane, Fit to.... Select G8M, Accept
In this way, the wings fit on G8M with its custom bones kept.
OMG thank you SO MUCH to both of you! You made my day!
