You can for images but can you render an animation with transparent background? Studio 4.6.

Ok. So then you need to string them together in another program. Good thing it's a short clip. Or am I missing something? Thanks for the reply as it did appear to do that.

Yes, you need to turn the sequence into an animation - it should just be a matter of picking the folder and making a few settings in most cases. Rendering to an image sequence does have other benefits too - protection from crashes (or Windows Update restarts), the ability to fix issues in one or a few frames without having to rerender the whole thing, the ability to add audio etc.
