Freebie Challenge June 2024 - "An Octopus' Garden" - Main Thread

that's at least what the Beatles made of it, now show us what your under water place looks like and if you get touchy with an octopus or some other water creature?
Or tell us a story about a fish you made friends with? The selkieskin you found on the beach? Or how you tried to retrieve a hat that fell in the sea on a boat tour.
New rule: The use of image generating AI technology (midjourney, stable diffusion, DAZ AI Studio, etc.) is not allowed. The use of items (freebies or paid) that have been created with such technology is also not allowed. We realise it's not always easy to tell; let's all use our best judgement, and you can always ask the person hosting the contest if you're not sure.
The Rules For This Months Freebie Challenge are:
1. A minimum of (5) Freebies must be included in your image along with Links to the freebies you have used. For an item to be considered free it must be offered as a freebie for the whole month. The exception to this rule is all Daz Bi-Weekly Freebies will be allowed throughout the entire month in which they are free as well as the month following their release as a freebie (For a total of 2 months). Also, if a freebie is broken down into multiple downloads/links/parts (IE like if the freebie is broken down into 3 zips etc...)it only counts as 1 freebie, not 3.
2. There will be a Maximum of 5 purchased items.
3. Base figures (All Gen 2,3,4, and Genesis 1,2,3,8 and 9) as well as their general morphs packs (Morphs++ and similar) do not count as a purchased item or a freebie and may be used as needed
4.Your Rendered Picture must be a new render and postwork is allowed but you MUST include a before and after Postwork versions of your entry in the Entry Thread.
5. All DAZ 3D Programs are allowed (IE Bryce, Carrara, Daz Studio and Hexagon) plus Poser for the contest.
6. All entries are subject to the Daz3D TOS Found Here: Terms Of Service
7. You may enter a Maximum of 4 Entries per month.
8. You may edit your entry as much as you like in the main thread but once it is posted to the "Entries Thread" it may not be further modified. Also, if you edit or add things, be sure you update any links or freebie changes you make.

I tried to download the model I quoted from your post and there's no download link I can find, even tried a different browser. How do I download this
I didn't try the the download, just saw that there was what I though the link but I agree, now testing what I thought was the link all leads to the download for that zip program. that link is a google add you need to click away. Then I thought I get it there but it all again leads to that zip formatting thingy. Is that needed to download the actual model ( I do have a different ZIP software on my computer)

Hi Faeryl Womyn and Linwelly, I also had trouble because the download link is small and faded. On the page that opens with the link I reported (Cartoon Seahorse Free 3d Model - .Ma, Mb, .Obj - Open3dModel 129077) you need to click on "download Link" which takes you to another page where you will find the link for the zip file to download. The link is the word "download" which is located approximately in the center of the page, under 2 advertising boxes and is small and faded (light grey). Attached are screenshots of the two pages with the links highlighted.
I hope I have been clear in my explanations, I am not a native English speaker and I often translate with Google translate, if something is not clear, ask me.
Hi Linwelly, in the Lorely hair link I also got a warning message, but I downloaded it anyway, since other files previously downloaded from that site didn't give me any problems.
As for Asina, I really like it! it's adorable and when possible I include it in the renders.:)

Sadly it didn't help, I don't get that page when I click the link. The image attached shows what I get, and I did try in another browser in case that was the issue. Got a different page that tells me the link is not available and have to go back to open3d page. I added the image for that as well.
it worked for me with the additional information, I think you need to scroll below the ads with the green "start" button in your screenshot, and the real download link is really light grey in my view, it's a bit weird how hard they try to hide it
I don't think it's so much about hiding the real link, it's more about getting you to click on a different one that they can make money from!

@emanuela1 I finally got it, don't know what changed today but after clicking the first page I got one that has the download link in extreme light grey lol I had to highlight the whole page to see it. It has very short time limit to get it so had to do it twice, least I knew where to click the second time.
