I'm trying to import Daz characters to unreal engine 5.4 but no matter which character I import which gender which generation the hands and feet always end up crippled! What am I doing wrong? How do I fix it? It's a problem that has been plaguing me for literally about two years now! It's driving me nuts. And the GitHub community is not particularly helpful on this issue so I'm hoping someone here has an answer. Please help me! Thanks.

If you exported assets to UE with Daz official DTU plugin, better firstly try with the ones from here - https://github.com/David-Vodhanel/DazToUnreal or https://github.com/daz3d/DazToUnreal/releases
I have no idea how "crippled" the imported figure looks... better post a screen shot.
I used the latest one from there for UE 5.4 and they're crippled pretty badly
how to post a screenshot on daz forum ????
Image uploading seems to be broken on the forums right now, but you could host it somewhere else like imgur and embed/link it from there.
I just downloaded the latest bridge from GitHub and it sent a G8 to Unreal without issue. Try a G8 to see if that works better, and maybe the problem is just G9. If the G8 is also munched, then the problem is something else.
Nope g8.1 i just tried. Same issue
what settings do you have gordig? Can you send a screenshot if possible so I can compare?
idk if that link works. its my ffirst time doing that
I can see the link. The trick to posting Imgur links to the forums is that you need to actually click on the picture in the link to view a larger version, then right-click and copy image URL. THAT can be posted on the forums, like so:
Godig tried G8 and found no issue, so I tried Mr. Otter and found no issue either.
I just update the plugins - https://github.com/David-Vodhanel/DazToUnreal/releases/tag/v5.4.0.365 You may also use the online installer https://github.com/David-Vodhanel/DazToUnrealOnlineInstaller It always update with the latest release.
I exported for 2 times, with and without all corrective morphs.
yeah I just screwed around with the settings. Turns out it was one setting on unreal side that was screwing the whole thing up. I unchecked it and all is good
