quick access to folders and other things to speed up work?

hi there,

i'm thinking my DAZ work requires sooooo much clicking and I was wondering if maybe i don't know certain ways to speed tings up. for instance, can i make shortcuts to certain folders (which may be nested up to 7 levels deep)?

or maybe there's a list or a thread somewhere of other things to speed up work?

I'm not sure if I'm reading your question correctly, but if you are looking for a way to quickly load an item from your content library without navigating through your content library, try this:

    Scripts custom menu:
    To quickly create a menu item to load a commonly-used content item:  right-click the content thumbnail and select "Create Custom Action". (These will appear in the Scripts menu).

And of course a second option is to categorize your content in multiple places, so you could have a folder at the top of your content library (although you'll still need a few clicks to get there) with favorites or something.

One thing that I do is keep multiple explorer windows always open. I then drag/drop from these into DAZ. For example, if you save out a bunch of pose presets, material presets, etc., you can have instant access to all of these. Not only can they be organized in whatever way you want, but you will also have access to all of the standard windows sort/search tools: sort by date modified descending for recent work, search using wildcards for anything in only the current directory and subdirectories, etc.
