Purpose

When building animations in Daz Studio

and you don't want the current frame's pose to be 'contaminated'

by the neighboring poses that will be added later

you may often find yourself doing

go in the parameters tab

locate and click the "memorize figure pose" menu

locate and click the "restore figure pose" menu

this script does this in one click

( i was trying some rotoscoping ( more on this in 2016 )

and needed to "pin down" the dance poses

  • Added to the index, though I'm not clear on what it is doing so the description may need editing.

Thanks, it keyframes the pose of the selected figure by doing a "memorize-figure-pose followed by a restore-figure-pose

which is different from the timeline keyframe button that only keyframes the selected node(s)

  • Ah, I see. OK, I can clarify the description - thanks.

I believe if you you select the form the Timeline or Keymate; and the object mode, and the entire figure; all the child modes will be keyframed?

Thank you MCasual for all your wonderful scripts.

i never took time to understand how keyframing works on the new Timeline

i have a animation curves graph viewer with some editing ability, it's a plugin named SceneGraf

    here https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts2/mcjscenegrafds45

    guess i shoul;d make a Mac version eh in 2022 :)
