[How to copy the list of of content folders from DS4 to DS4 beta] I use both, keeping an eye on how the beta progresses, but I really hope there is a way to copy a file from the main channel to the beta so I don't have to re-add manually every folder I created in the main, into the beta. Something in AppData maybe?

If you mean the Library Paths configured in Content Directory Manager, and you want to copy the configuration from DS General Release to Beta...
Just go to %appdata%\DAZ 3D\Studio4, COPY/PASTE file: ContentDirectoryManager.dsx to %appdata%\DAZ 3D\Studio4 Public Build
You should not need to copy anything. Both, the gemeral release and the beta should access your content library without any problems.
Where is your content installed, in relation to your DS app folder.
Keep in mind, The DS Content folder must be installed seperatly from the DS app folder and must not be embeded into the App folder.
Somehow, that didn't work when I copied the file from the DS4 folder to the beta folder as you said, crosswind. I opened said file in a text editor, it seems glarily empty of folder references.
What if you open Content Directory Manager in your DS General Release, there must be the library path that you've well configured, like the screenshot 1 ~ right ?
Then you open ContentDirectoryManager.dsx in the folder: %appdata%\DAZ 3D\Studio4, it should be the very same, like the screenshot 2, but it's totally empty on your side ?
Settings are different between the beta and General release, so you do need to tell the beta where your content directories are if you're not using the default one. UI customizations are also specific to the general release or beta.
There's a script to copy over the directories, I'll try to find it...
Edit: Found it! See Richard's post here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/4377996/#Comment_4377996
(yes, I know it's a really old post, but that should still work )
This will copy any saved content directory sets, it won't copy the active paths (which may be different, even if there are saved sets).
Ah yah, my bad ~ Yes, I forgot that the library paths are stored in Windows registry !
@second_technician_rimmer_9571136c47, pls use the above Script that Leana linked to replicate the lib paths ! Sorry for that !
That worked flawlessy. Thanks guys!
