While not a batch converter and is a paid product RiverSoft Art's Bone Minion product line https://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result?q=bone+minion is really good, in that there is no need to convert a lot of pz2's into duf's which saves a lot of time and drive space.

What kind of pz2: pose, materials, morph settings?

It seemed to me that only converting poses in pz2 format to DUFs might be meaningful to some extent... IMHO. Bone Minions are also great products that OP may consider if your OP is for converting Poses ~  There're good free scripts from richardandtracy on Rendo for converting V4/M4 poses to Genesis xx but just not on the fly... you have to load both of figures, IIRC....

    Yea, they are a poses.

But really looking for a batch converter.  I can easily open up each pose in DS but there are 80 of them so one at a time is quite time consuming.

The product I linked to you is just a batch converter, but it only can convert pz2 pose files to duf files from generation 4 to G2. You may still need other converters if you use the converted dufs on G3+ Figures.
