Hello.
Does anybody out there have an issue with the Heart of Darkness product by Stonemason not loading and throwing an error message?
The product used to work a DS version or so back but no longer.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it using the DIM multiple times trying reboots in between and such to no availe.
It is the only product I have that is doing this and I can't figure out what is going on.
Anyone have and thoughts?

What are the error messages? The Iray scene file loaded without issue for me.

I just thought of the fact that I hadn't posted that error message and came back to see your post.
I will attach the message.
Well, the server will not allow me to post the screen shot.
It says "Could not open file:/Props/Stonemason/Heart of Darkness/Iray/Heart of Darkness Iray.DUF File does not exist."
Yet, it is there in my library. At least the icon for it is.
Make sure there isn't a Connect install, at least according to the database - find the actual product container (the folder under Products in the Content Library pane, or the product itself - without opening it to see files - in the products tab of Smart Content), then right-click on it and if there is an uninstall option select that.
Richard, I do not understand the first part of the first sentence able "a Connect install".
Also, I am not receiving notices when someone posts a reply, despite the fact I have the star higlighted gold. I will be checking this thread from time-to-time.
Actually, I really don't understand any of what you are saying for sure.
Installing through Daz Studio is Daz Connect - if there is such an installation listed then it will take priority over any DIM install, even if the connect files are missing or damaged.
Okay. I understand a little better now.
I am always checking for DAZ Connect items ready for install. Haven't seen any in a while.
Should I uninstall the Heart of Darkness via the DIM and then check the DAZ Connect?

If you have Daz Studio, you have Daz Connect, because it's a built-in feature.
Where would I find DAZ Connect? Don't see it anywhere in DS.
If you install content within DS, you are using Daz Connect.
I have installed using Smart Content and the Install tab. Is the Install tab DAZ Content?
After uninstalling the Heart of Darkness and then opening DS I do not see it available to be installed within DS.
Daz Connect, yes. Now that you've uninstalled it, try installing it through DIM.

Using the DIM is my only option and I have done that numerous times to no avail.
I even tried rebooting before reinstalling it via the DIM. I still get the message I posted above.
I just don't get it. Very frustrating.
Can you find it in the Content Library?
So there is no sign of it in Daz Studio when it is installed through DIM?
Once I uninstall via the DIM it is gone from DS - not in the content library, not in the Install tab and not in the Smart Content tab.
The only option to reinstall is DIM. But, once I do that it is there in the content library but will not load into a scene. I get the aforementioned error message.
