IRAY render, GPU not working, CPU full

Here we go again, asking for your help. Thank youcheeky

I have configured a 4060ti computer with 16GB of video memory and 64GB of RAM.
When using IARY rendering, it was found that the CPU usage was always 100%, while the GPU usage only occasionally jumped to 30%, and then ran at 1% to 3% for a long time.
My scene, which includes four clothed characters and a house, shouldn't exceed 16 gigabytes of video memory, right?
Why does DAZ still only use CPU rendering?

In order to rule out the problem of my graphics card, I deliberately downloaded several large games, and the GPU worked normally

    Turn off Allow CPU Fallback and see what happens. The Iray memory Optimiser is a guess, and was designed when materials were a lot simpler - I would not regard it as useful these days. You need to switch one of the graphs in Task Manager to CUDA (or one of the Compute options if CUDA is not listed) - the defaults do not show Iray activity. What nVidia driver are you using (right-click on Desktop>nVidia Control Panel, the numbers are listed in the coloured panel with the card name)?

    CPU Fallback is in the Advanced tab of Render Settings (as shown in your last screenshot on the first post) - you have to restart Daz Studio for it to take effect.

    I assume the GPU is actually a 16GB version (the rest of the memory listed for it is probably shared system memory, which isn't useful for Iray) and it does seem to be hitting the limit there. You may need to simpl;ify the scene, e.g. by removing maps thata re not having any visible effect on the scene (such as on more distant figures) or by resizing maps (manually or using something like Scene Optimiser).

    So a room scene with four dressed characters is the limit of 16 gigabytes of memory? In that case, learning how to simplify a scene and reduce the number of faces in a 3D model is a skill that must be learned, right?

    When having such problems, the first place to look at is ones DS Log (Help->Troubleshooting->View Log File)

    If the information in the log does not 'open', attach the log to your post with "Attach a file" above "Post Comment" button and we can have a look.
    Do not copy the log to the message area.

    As someone who tends to put many things into a scene I can confirm that Scene Optimiser is indeed incredibly useful. There are other alternatives also, such as Camera Optimiser (for removing/hiding things the camera cannot see) and a few "Resource Saver" products which contain textures that take up less space in that precious memory.

    Then there are other things such as low-poly figures or billboards but those may not be as suitable for a close-up type of scene.

    I don't like the idea of hiding objects, at least over a certain size, because it intrferes with the naturasl lighting but yes, for complex scenes the MMX Resource Saver products are avery useful - the first one's promo images even give a free set of guidelines which can be followed manually for reducing scene loads.

    Then there are other things such as low-poly figures or billboards but those may not be as suitable for a close-up type of scene.
