Objects with instanced does not cast shadow.

This is weird, caracters who has instances of them does not cast shadow, neiter the caracter or the instaces cast shadow but their clothing, hair and atatched items do.
Instances of simpler objects cast shadows. 

3Deligth render, only one light cast shadow. 
This also affect reflections, there I first noticed this bug if they are related. 
Tried to parrent caracter to a an clothing item and then using the clothing as istance goal but this don't help only the clothing showed up so it affect caracters only from genesis 1 to 8.
Is this an know issue? Sure this has worked before, yes easy to notice this here as caracters have little clothing. 
See that the tail and the leg covering does not cast shadow,
