Weird and ugly deforming of muscles

Hi all,
first of all, I am relatively new in Daz.
Her is my problem:
When i try to use a pose or bend a knee with powerpose or by hand with the rulers, the thigh muscle has a strange and ugly behaviour.

and after bending

Any suggestions how exactly I prevent this or fix this

With Genesis figure selected, go to Parameters pane... from the "hamburger" menu in the upper left corner > Preferences, tick Show Hidden Properties then select Currently Used... Post a screenshot.

Thank you for the currently used hint... I found a function which is called "Flex Quad Left" in there (it was only the left leg which showed this behaviour). I did a "reset Attributes" with this function (clicking the cogwheel)...and.... tadaaaa.... all fine. Thx again for the hint.
