Is there a write up on what the parameters do for dforce strand based hair?

So SBH is becoming bigger and, presumably, better, but I'm finding that lots of new hair is either too stiff, or not stiff at all.  Majority of G9 SBH coming out with dforce on it is only good for headshot type poses and doesn't drape like geometry based stuff for poses like laying down or leaning forward, or anything else that isn't looking straight ahead, or slightly to the side.  In some rare cases, the hair completely loses its shape and flops down like it just had a large bucket of water dropped onto it from 10 feet up.

I'd like to know if there was any kind of clarification of each of the dforce parameters like constraint stiffness and bias, shock propogation, etc. found in the parameters of the hair so I can adjust or tinker with things, if possible.  Does anyone have any tips for hair wrangling?  The older stuff seemed like it was easier to get to cooperate in most cases, and I admit to not really getting to know SBH as well, but if that's gonna be the only kind of hair coming out, I need to find out how to deal with it!

This does help, thanks! Still not totally clear on everything, but I guess I'll keep trying to figure it out
