As You can see in the examples I posed although i have a light pointing directly to the front of the figure and the autoheadlamp set to "only when no other light sources in the scene" she still casts the fixed shadow to the left. What is causing this and how can it be removed?

  • Also, the problem prevails when enviroment is loaded. This is other scene but light is also facing the front of the figure so the shadow is pointing at completely wrong direction

  • Unless you have the render settings set to 'scene only',(render settings>Environment>Environment mode) you'll also get light from the dome/HDRI/'Sun'.

That's where the shadow is being generated from.

  • And this "sun" position is fixed and cannot be changed?

An HDR (wich is the default) can be rotated, in Render SAettings. The Sun/Sky can have the lattitude and logitude adjusted, along with the time.

Ok I managed to move HDRI/Default enviroment map, but it looks like all enviroments map had their specifics about where the light comes from it's character, intensity etc. So if I would change it to just simple sun at cloudless day lightsource how do i do it?

Remove the map (select None), or if you didn't need scene lights just set the environment Mode to Subn/Sky (or set it to Scene Only so it will use only the lights you add).
