How to get purchased 3d models into Carrara?

I'm running Cararra 8.5.1.19 on an Intel MacBook Pro, OS Ventura 13.0 . Please tell me . . . how does one "manually" load 3d models into Cararra? Thanks.

depending on the type of model, the manual way is to use File/Import

though I'm a Windows user so that may not work on your system.
