The scene appears dark in the viewport

Why do my scene, characters, and all the objects appear dark when I enable the "preview light" option? Is it something in the light settings, environment, or the tone mapping?  I'm viewing my scene in "Texture shaded". All other my files work fine. I need to see preview light to preview some lights behavior in my scene.

    Preview Lights is actually on by default, and it does not include anything but the first seven actual lights (light nodes, Distant, Spot, Point, or Linear) so any emissive surfaces or environment lighting will be ignored, as will light nodes later in the load order.

    And still Daz Studio does not remember this damn setting. I hate it so much. How hard is to persist it?
