[4.9 beta] SubD Displacement in Iray - pixelized map and viewport not updating properly

1. (Pixelized Map) Trying to readjust some materials for an older product and I read about converting displacement maps to true greyscale (removed color info) 32-bit TIFFs. I've done this, but upon loading the map in DS, it's pixelated like crazy and seems to cause some unwanted issues on the model in the viewport. I've tried saving as both Interleaved and Per Channel. The actual map is not pixelated at all. (see attachment)
2. (Viewport Updating for Displacement) Whatever the highest strength of SubD Displacement was, is the only strength that the viewport will show, even when set back to 0. I have to change the viewport's drawstyle and back for the viewport to redraw properly. Before I submit a bug report, is this normal?

It is possible Studio can't read 32 bit TIFF, if possible try converting to 16 bit TIFF.
