What is the Scene Builder plugin?

I just got a new computer and am uploading everything fresh. As I'm installing everything, I see Scene Builder, which I vaguely remember from before but don't remember what it does/is. Since it came as a zip file I had no idea where to put it. Google came to my rescue in the form of ONE forum post somewhere about it being a plugin. Aha. plugins folder. great. got it. Now...... what does it do? Google didn't have an answer for that, so I came here and upon searching the term Builder, nothing about the scene builder comes up. Though I am interesed in this skin builder thing there are a lot of posts about. Been AWOL awhile, so I'm catching up on some of the newer plugins and things (and discovered the built in Iray rendering. Yay!) :)

So.... long way of asking a simple question...

what is the Scene Builder? what does it do? and do i need it?

Well, it looks like it's something made for daz 4.5.......

It's also a json script. That is all I can tell after downloading it. Unless they messed it up and it's supposed to be for 4.9

Don't ask me what any of that means lol. I have not a clue.

Thanks. I'm just going to leave it alone for now until I can figure out exactly what it is.
