Using Daz Install Manager, uninstall Postgre Sql from the Installed Programs tab. Then reinstall from the Ready to Install tab.

That did nothing for me. On startup I still get the message op shows and then it also refuses to recognize my login.

DS finds my saved scenes from 4.8 and I can use them. I can find content via product library but smart content shows absolutely nothing and of course, all the online features are unavailable since I can't log in.

I've been following the threads here that are about the same problems I have and so far, nothing that has been suggested has done any difference.

What operating system and security software?

Win 10 and I'm using McAfee. Turning it off makes no difference, and even if it did, it wouldn't be much of an option to run DS with security off...

well I did get PostSQL to install finally with DIM after turning off Windows firewall

did me no good though, the new connect freebies are still missing, I can see all the rest of my stuff

Actually, you wouldn't be running with security off, you'd just have to configure it to allow Postgre.  But McAfee isn't one with known conflicts with Postgre, which means it likely is something other than security software causing the problem.  ZoneAlarm is the only one with a long standing problem with Postgre.

  • None works for me, i've reinstalled, given permission, etc but nothing works and can't connect to my account in Daz Studio. If this is a bug, hope Daz will solve soon, i've bought a product daz only can be installed by daz connect.

  • Hello Juanjo,

Was this solved? I am facing similar problem, and unstalling and installing doesn't seem to help either.
