cant open DAZ Studio

So, I just installed DAZ 3D, yet when I click the button that says 'click here to launch DAZ studio 4.22' and nothing happens. absolutely nothing. I don't even know what is going on

    Are you using the EXE or another install method?

    Have you tried the desktop short cut?

    Mac or Windows? have you tried launching from the Start Menu (in Windows) or application list on a Mac? Do you get a Task Bar/Dock icon? Is it shown as running in task manager or the Mac process list?
