Daz Studio help 4.9.2.70

I haven't mess with poser and bryce and DS in like 10 years and thought i would dig it back out and then i get a update to this version of

DS , then i get a update that there is a newer one .. well that one won't run on this pc as of yet .. only have OpenGl 1.1 so stuck

on a version behind ..

Well I finally got a old figure loaded into DS and fixed the issues with the back pack strap that was buried in the shoulder ..

now DS won't let me add it to the assets  ..  WHY ..???  ( see mouse pointer , option is grayed out )

I'm afraid daz doesn't save "poser formats", you can save in the "daz studio formats".

This product may help for saving some Poser file types:

    https://www.daz3d.com/poser-format-exporter-pfe

n.b. before saving adjustments made to Poser files into D/S formats, save the product itself first as a D/S file. [i.e. saving morphs for non-existent products won't work]

Daz Studio can export R2 (figure) files for Poser, but note that the weight-mapped figuers (Genesis etc.) will not reload correctly. using a scene or scene subset would eb the way to go, or a wearables preset for an ouitfit.

I found out that i can make a folder and save it into there, just not the one i have shown in the screen cap.

so i guess that is what you are saying .
