Hey everyone
I am new to Daz, and while I see great potential with it, I have had a much more difficult time than usual with it compared to learning other new software.
Goal is to pose and dress a figure, export the 3D file (typically .obj), load them into Modo, apply materials, and place them in Modo scene.
I bought some wardrobe content for Genesis male 3, which is my default figure, and alot of the content is not loading, sometimes the clothing doesnt adapt to the applied pose, menu interface isn't very intuitive, and the pose that I finally managed to get with clothes in sync exported as a 40 MB obj, and Modo and Maya were chuggin like snails.
Also, I dont understand the relationship to the wardrobe and figure. 3 months ago or so when I tried Daz for the first time, I bought the M4 army combat uniform, Infantry combat equipment, ICE pack one and two, as well as Michael 4 for Genesis 2 male, and I couldnt get anything to sync at the time in terms of wardrobe and poses.
I will keep at it tomorrow and will be trying to find solutions to the problems (pretty sure the file locator one is not terribly hard), but any tips or links to tutorials would be awesome, especially something that would help me understand the heirrchy of files in Daz, order of proceeders, etc. Thank you ahead of time for helping out.

There are several free tutorials produced by daz. They include:

While they are not the exact figure your trying to work with they should help you get a handle on how the consepts work as well as the thought process of where things are located.
thank you for the help!
