will 4.23 work on win 7 not render but work?

I know win7 won't let iray renders but I have a second computer with win10 which should render iray when I upgrade it, but my biggest machine is still on win 7 (and refuses to upgrade .. thanks Asus for an issue even MS can't debug).
But am interested in whether I can still put 4.23 on the old computer to use the new tools.

All the buildings, ground planes, lights (basically anything not a vehicle) built in daz3d ... was all I could afford to use for modeling back in 2007 and I'm used to it.
so would love to use the tools over on the dual processor 64 gig machine.

Yes, the limiting factor is the version of the Qt application framework used and that will not change until DS 5
thanks...
I'll be pleased to use the tools on the old machine and then just slip the renders over to the win 10 machine.
What does that mean? Will Daz Studio 5 drop Qt and use another GUI system?
No, but it will use a later version of Qt and that will unavoidably break existing plugins (and probably some scripts).
