Problems loading and saveing in DAZ Studio 4.23

Hello,

i have problems loading and saveing

Saveing scenes over File / Save as / Scene.. says it is saveing but than the destination directory remains empty. Try to save again and it works. But when scene was loaded modified, and saved with the save button, the changes are not saved.

When loading old scenes (with Victoria 4) figure loads but clothes and hair is not loaded, error message comes, that certain files are not found. Checking the directory - files are there.

I created my own startup scene. Even this could not be loaded at program start. But there is a hint in the log:

Can anywone help me with this problems?

    So these are just in the root of the D: drive? is that also the save location?

    Does the file look ok ? if it is not compressed you should be able to look at it in notepad and see if it look ok, it may be zipped, in that case you would have to copy/rename it to a .zip file and unzip it first.

    Are you 100% sure the disk is not full or near full ? it sounds like a typical problem with an almost full disk, it can behave in all kinds of weird ways.

    Is it an old drive ? it could simply starting to go bad, run a check on the drive.

    Did this start at the exact same time as you installed 4.23 ?

    This seems to be a problem with anything saved with any version previous to the latest 4.23 update. Likely 4.23 is either not compatable with older versions in reguards to scenes saved by the user or its a bug that only affects scenes not saved with 4.23.. Even scenes with gen 9 characters in them don't load correctly. Had this problem immediately after upgrading to 4.23. Scenes saved with 4.23 have no issues loading for me. Wish we had an option to downgrade to the previous version until Daz works something out and releases a patch.

    If that is the problem that it is one nasty bug, I have learned the hard way to not update for the first few weeks

    That's not very informative. Do you have any specifics that we can work with to see if there are real issues?

    I've loaded several scenes from older versions of Studio without any issue, something else has to be at fault here other than just 4.23.
