Loss Genesis Female 2 actor after update to 4.9

Hi, just to reiterate my question. I suddenly loss my Genesis 2 Female actor from my content. Any help regarding this??

Below is a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Thanks much!

Here's a comparison screentshot. You can see that the Genesis male 2 actor is still available, however the Genesis 2 Female actor is gone.

  • Lost in the Smart Content pane, or not loading even if you got o the Content Library and look under \DAZ Studio Formats\My DAZ 3D Library\People\Genesis 2 Female (where My Daz 3d Library would be the folder you install to)?

The file is in the folder along with other actor files when I looked for it.

Is there a "Figures" sub-folder in your Genesis 2 Female directory? If so, it will be in there.

Threads merged. Please don't start multiple threads on the same topic.

  • Also, please don't shrink your screenshots - it makes the text impossible to read. Upload them to the forum or use the Insert image dialogue to set their size, 800 pixels wide at most, and we can open the full-sized version.

  • How did you install Genesis 2 Starter Essentials, assuming you did?

Thanks and I apologized for those mistakes.

    I always use Install Manager..

  • Ok, which folder did you isntall Genesis 2 Starter Essentials to (click the triangle button next to Genesis 2 Starter Essentails in the Installed tab, then from the menu select Show Installed Files)? Is that folder set as a DAZ Studio Content Directory insdie DAZ Studio (it should be listed in the Content Library pane under DAZ Studio Formats, check the exact payth by opening the Content Library pane's option menu - the lined button in the top corner or right-click the tab - and select Content Directory Manager)?

Where can I re-install the free version if I need to?

  • It should be in Ready to Install or Ready to Download - go to Ready to Download and check Show Hidden, if that doesn't bring it up click the filters button and make sure you haven't turned DAZ Studio 4.5+ off.
