Reset layout?

How do I get back the layout DS 4.9 had at first startup? I accidentally changed it and now I can't find anything anymore.

on the main toolbar Click "Window>Style>Select Style"

When the window opens there is a drop down menu at the top where you can select from the different styles.

select the style you want, and press"accept" at the bottom to apply the style and to close the settings window.

 

 

edit: oops, sorry, you wanted the layout, not ths style. :)

Try "Window>Workspace>Select Layout" instead

This just changes the colors of the window decorations. I want back the pane layout I've been struggling to learn over the last week. And no, Select Layout doesn't list it, although City Lights Lite is sort of close.

You can drag and drop the tabs and put them where you want if that helps. Just start with what ever one is closest to the way you want it, then drag-n-drop the tabs around the UI until they are just where you need them then you can lock them into place with "Window>Workspace>Lock docking/undocking" and also save your new layout with "Window>Workspace>Save Layout as"

I'm not sure what the default was , I've been using a custom one for such a long time now I've forgotten which one is the default :)

I'll bet about a million new users almost immediately confront this situation, and there appears not to be a good answer.  There should be a menu choice which says simply, "Restore Default Layout".   If there is and I don't see it, please correct me, thanks.

Select: Windows > Workspace > Layout.

I think the default one is City Limit Lite.
