Question:

How do I have an eyebrow pericing, for instance, follow the facial rig of Genesis 3 when parented and smart propped to the head?  I've tried searching the forums here for about two hours now using various key phrases and words and online and came up with zip in finding tips or tutorials-so I land myself here asking the community. :)  

I want to do the brow, lips, ears (think Elf ears, too), so this is something I'd really like to figure out if possible.

I think you just answered your own question. Don't parent the ouchysharppointything to the head, parent it to the nearest part of the upper or lower facial rig. I just tried that with a torus on the lower lip, and moving the lip works very nicely. It even follows along well when I use the expressions.

Not sure if the same can be done for the ears; they're not rigged as sub-parts, just one part for each ear.

I did figure out my issue: I forgot that when you parent a piercing, say the brow, you have to unhide the hidden bones to find which portion of the eyebrow rig to use.  There are three.  They work now with some minor tweaking needed in extreme expressions, the same with the snake bites.  A full blown smile tends to have them intersect the lower lip a bit.
