Meta Data: ShopID and Product URL

Hi, I have 2 questions regarding creating Metadata for 3rd Party Products.

This works allready pretty well but there are 2 Issues i can't solve so far:

1) How can I create a New ShopID for diffrent Vendors beside DAZ 3D? Currently the Editor only offers me DAZ 3D and Nothing as options but no posibility to enter a new one.

2) I havent found anything about how to set the Product URL for a 3rd Party Product. Where can I do that?

Store, Token and Name appear to be used to Auto Fill the Support file name generated in the Support: filename box.  I've been putting the non-daz store name in the Token: box and let the Auto Fill name the file <token>_<name> so I can identify the support files in Runtime/Support by store and product name.

Store names I've used are Rendo, HWire, RDNA, Mec4D, PPros, Free

If you wanted to add that store's product ID to the support file names like DAZ products do, you could put it in the Token field as <store_product id>

that is exacly what I'm doing at the moment.

But it is a waste of the existing metadata fields if we can't use them as intended.

It just doesnt make sense that they create a Store ID Field in the Metadata and then only alow DAZ3D as a value....

If you talk about ds 4.9,, there is no way to Create new shop ID as usuall way. (Via DAZ Studio UI, or manuall edit dsx)

only the officiator of a given StoreID should export products wherein the StoreID is set to the identifier for that store—simply because of the behavior described above with regard to the manner in which Vendor Data is handled. Do note that it is possible to add StoreIDs (via the scripting API). It is not possible (at the time of this post) to remove a StoreID (via the scripting API, nor via the user interface). Manually editing a dsx file to change the StoreID to a value that is not already defined in the database and then importing that dsx file will not cause that StoreID to be inserted into the database. Adding a StoreID must be performed via the scripting API. By default, the 4.9 database provides exactly two StoreIDs: "LOCAL USER" and "DAZ 3D"

 

Then who know well about scripting API to generate Store ID?  it beyound usuall DS User skill I feel.

and I do not hope ,just categorize items with "Product" ,then show it in smart content,

as same as DAZ product,  I need to learn DAZ script .

 

 though I could make product data without store ID,, it still remain as Local_User Product.

then show duplicate items in smart content when you serch files,

 and  we can not easy remove reference from  user-made "prodcut"  anymore,after we made it.

 

 

I think, these things  show DAZ do not admit any Product ID, or Product meta data as true meaning.

Though I am now asking about it by direct message to the FAQ author. if I have miss understanding.

 

but how many words there are,, I think,, what we can do, and what we can not in ds 4.9 may not change

about user made "Product" data.
