Export Figure for making morphs

Hi, I noticed that despite setting subdivision level to 0 and zeroing a figure, the exported object, when loaded back as a morph, slightly inflates the entire figure, every vertex is moving a little. This is fixed if setting subdivision to "bilinear" before export. Loading back this as a morph will then say "no deltas". Is this correct, and if so, why do the other algorithms move the vertices even on subdivision 0?

What is the recommended way of exporting for morph? Always having to care the proper subdivision algorithm is set seems error-prone.

Thanks

You should set it to base resolution.

I'm not sure I've ever run into this issue.

Load your figure into the scene. Set to base resolution as felis says. I usually leave the subdivision algorithm set to Catmark, which I believe is the default.

When the OBJ export options dialog opens, I make sure that it is set to DAZ Studio for output.   Also when importing back in, I also select DAZ Studio.

Ah base resolution. I think you are right.
