Live Link for Cascadeur

Recently I have seen live link posing was released for Unreal Engine 5, so you are able to pose your character in Cascadeur and see in real time that movement in UE5.  I've tested it with Daz figures and it works fine.

But  it would be marvelous if that feature would be available inside Daz.

Problem is, UE is a game engine, DS is not. It's like comparing a slingshot to a tank, both will shot a projectile, but the tank does so much more

I fear I don't understand your point.  As far as I understand live link could work on DAZ viewport, as it works on Unreal pose room, isn't?

Mike's point is that DS's interface and viewport performance aren't as optimized as those of game engines, so there's virtually nothing DS can do in real time.

  • Gordig, looks as if you've put your finger on an area where big improvements could be made to DS.

I have difficulty imagining that Daz doesn't know there's a lot of room for improvement in that area, or that it's something users want.
