Something that's been bothering me for some time - refrigerators

Or, more properly, the number of sets with kitchens that hav cook tops or ranges, sinks, the occasional microwave - but no refrigerator; in many cases, no place in the floor plan to add one from another set.

Why? I can understand it when space is constrained and shopping is only a block or two away. But I know someone with a 350 square foot Manhattan studio apartment that includes a stacked washer/dryer, a standard refrigerator, four element range with microwave vent hood and a standard size dishwasher all along the end wall.

Admittedly, I live in the US, and about the only places without refrigerators are tents. For off-grid, campers, RVs, and the Amish there are highly efficient propane refrigerators that don't reqire electricity. In my case, the 'corner gocery store' is a bit over four miles away - 20 minutes by car.

I just picked up the FG One Bed Apartment - perfect for my use except the missing refrigerator. But at least there's a space for one - eliminate the trash can on the left of the counter and the Left Swing Fridge from the C3D Appliances set (sku 57143, no longer in tthe store) fits perfectly.

out of curiousity I took a quick look in the DAZ duf format library,

there is literally a tent with a fridge too

Poser  formats would be many more then there's the Renderosity library ...

And if they're built-in to match the cupboards, they don't look like fridges either, just another under-worktop cupboard.

True. But very few residences in the US have a primary refrigerator that small. College dorm rooms, family room wet bars and equvilant spaces may have one as a secondary fridge, but the main fridge in the kitchen has been tending larger, not smaller for a number of years now. I give a pass to the environments that have a tall cabinet, as the other trend over the years has been making the fridge look like a pantry cabinet or shelving system.
