Are Linday’s dForce Hair and Stonemason’s Urban Future environments required to use this tutorial or would I be able to use any hair and environment and get the full benifit?

This tutorial combines instruction on two of DAZ Studio’s most celebrated asset series: Linday’s dForce Hair and Stonemason’s Urban Future. This session provides hands-on, practical guidance with clear examples and pro tips for achieving cinematic results.

So that "hand-on, practical guidance" might get a bit complicated, if you don't have the assets used as examples, as you won't be able to track the steps in your own DAZ, but the principles taught can be used without those assets with other products.
