Genesis or Genesis 2

I recentlt finished building a scene using Genesis 2. My workflow was to set up all of the characters (about 8) in the scene and then to create some "diversity" by using the ethnicity bundle I purchased for Genesis. When I tried to use that bundle I discovered it "may" not work because it is for Genesis. Am I wrong about this? WIll Genesis content work on Genesis 2 or not?

Is there an "ethnicity" bundle for G2? If not, why not?
I found this from a similar I raised some time ago. But it had to do with compatibility of character content. http://www.daz3d.com/compatibility-matrix
I would like to raisea similar question about generation compatibility. Is there a "current" chart that would make it possible to know everything that is available for M_V/4-7 vs Genesis vs Genesis 2?
Is there a way to filter content search for this rather than spend valuable time searching and reading through the details of content you can use?
There are Ethnics Bundle for Genesis 2 http://www.daz3d.com/ethnics-for-genesis-2-female-s and http://www.daz3d.com/ethnics-for-genesis-2-male-s
If you want only search for product for a specific figure V4 or what ever, you can select it by using Filters - Figure on the Main Page of the Shop.
Morphs from Genesis 1 won't work on Genesis 2 by default. If you want to transfer morphs from Genesis 1 to genesis 2 female or male you can do it using a product called Genesis Generation X2. It also works in reverse if you want to transfer from Genesis 2 to genesis 1 and works if you want to transfer morphs from genesis 2 Male to Genesis 2 female.
Its worth it if you want to have more morph options from both Generations especially some of the more unique morphs like toons and monsters that are exclusive to the genesis 1 or 2. I'm hoping for the 3rd version so I can transfer all my morphs from Genesis 1 and 2 to Genesis 3.
I HIGHLY recommend GenX2 for a lot of reasons.
There is an Ethnic package for Genesis 2, but frankly I've found it not nearly as good/useful as the ethnics for Genesis. Thankfully, due to GenX2... I have access to all of it.
