Iray stops working

Okay, a little issue has cropped up. Whenever I try to render in Iray, the process works for about 5 minutes. Then, the little progress bar/window disappears and the render stops, usually with just a black or mostly black screen. This does not happen 3Delight, only Iray.  I am using DS 4.9 64 bit, and all of my PC's drivers are up to date (I've checked manually through Win Update, HP Update and the Nvidia site). I've made no system changes recently. This is something that just began happening over the past few days and as you can imagine, its annoying. Any suggestions for correcting this?

    What are your settings in the progressive group in the Render Settings pane?

    I'm using the Default settings. Nothing special or odd, just default.

    OK, check the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log) just after rendering - there will then be a summary report near the bottom which may show if there were errors, and should show why the render stopped.
