Hi, I've been experimenting the transparent skin issue on some figures. I'm using Daz 4.23 public build. I remember it fixed by choosing 'draw dome' But now I'm having the same issue using the 'scene only' under the Enviroment tab. I've been looking for it but can't find anything on how to solve it. Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advice.

Character should not be transparent out of the box.
Can you give examples of characters?
There are character that might have a high translucency value, but that should only affect how the skin look, although for areas with little depth like ears, light can sjine through.
So try to look at the translecency value, and see if lowering it imrpoves it.
I would say every character is bound to show this behavior. I've set the skin shader of two given characters to the same values and just getting different textures, one might show it more than the other. When using the sun-sky only's Draw dome set to on this problems dissapears. So this way is easy to use.
But when using the scene only I've found no options that fixes this. I also have played with the skin shader's options and found that setting the SSS mode to mono solves this. But this changes the skin's color a bit, sometimes a lot, and would be a pain to adjust all the custome characters again.
I've added a couple more pics to appreciate it better, the last two have a white and blue bacground to notice the transparency(alpha) on the skins. The fourht girl from left who who shows this problem more clear is Nathan Prescott's Cammy. SHe has translucency at 0.55 but again I've encoutered this with lower and higher values.

It is not really a troublesome bug. But It's been sometime since I saw it some time ago. I also have tried new and old Nvidia Drivers.
