Camera panning and more in DS 4.9 WTF!

One of my main niggles with DS 4.9 is that the cameras ability to pan normally seems gone. Doesn't matter if I use the box or the side controls to move things the slightest movement and the figure is off somewhere. Not happy with this and it's way to fidgety to deal with. Is there some new setting that I can turn off to get my normal camera panning and movement back?
You know what it's now reminding me of is a World veiw rather than Local view. I've looked at the camera controls and can't find anything that might represent that sort of off and on switch but nothing I can see.
Thanks
Richard

I am informed that nothing as regards to viewport navigation changed in 4.9
That's really weird Cho. I even deleted the camera's and started from scatch but the controls are reacting very strangely for me!
Not sure what would be up...but something similar has happened in Blender, to me.
Both Blender and Studio use OpenGL for viewport drawing...I'm wondering if it could be a video driver causing it?
Interesting obversation mjc. My NVIDIA drivers are up to date so not sure what else to attribute it too!
I've tried everything to get Blender to go back to the way it used to...except revert the driver. DS is behaving normally...but I'm still using 4.8.
Yea, didn't have this happening with 4.8 so that's what flew the red flag for me but perhaps with the next NVIDIA update it will smooth back out. If not I'll have to kill DS! ;-)~
Sorry you are having issues.
I have Windows 10 and an NVIDIA card and I upgraded to 4.9 and I have not experienced the issue you are having. I think you are doing the same thing I am from your description. I don't use the camera universal toll to adjust the camera much anymore. Every time I try, I will click on the arrow and drag and that deselects the camera and selects something else. So then I end up moving something else instead of the camera.
Instead I will select the camera in view list and then use the view navigation tools to position my camera and it works really well for me. (But I think that is what your are doing from your description.)
I also use Blender 2.75 (I think) and I have not had any issues with it either. (Knock on wood.)
Could your pointing device be set to a setting too sensitive?
Hi, thanks for posting. Nope, pointing device is set up correctly. Not sure why I seem to have issues with DAZ Studio only when ever stuff like this happens. All my other programs, 3D, 2D or other productivity programs work just fine all the time...![frown frown](http://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/confused_smile.png)
Can check the settings for the keyboard shortcuts and mouse to see if its changed, I have forgotten how to bring it up but I had delete not working once and had to re-enable the option.
