Hey guys,
One of the products I own of a fabric does not have very good thumbnails. It's thumbnails do not visually represent the cloth accurately, and so I was wondering if it is possible to manually replace them with thumbnails of my own without having to create a new figure/prop asset.
Thanks guys.

Yes, certainly in the Content Library - you just need a 91 pixel square PNG image in the folder with the content file and having the same name as the content file.
Richard,
Thank you for the quick reply, as always. That makes sense.
That leads me to another question, however: I've noticed that larger thumbnails are also used in certain layouts as well, or when you hover the mouse over the thumbnail, a larger preview pops up. The Daz documentation talks about product icons being 114x148 in size (and older products being 100x143 in size), and placed in runtime/support folder. Is this info in the documentation outdated perhaps? Or is the product icon an entirely different thing than the thumnbail preview?
Thanks again,
-TG
The main thumb is 91x91 and then there is another image that is 256x256 and has a .tip at the end that you get if you hover over the file.
Edit to add.. If your going to do a bunch of thumbs I strongly suggest that you consider this product. http://www.daz3d.com/thumbnail-mastery It will save your sanity
There are actually two content pane thumbnails you may see - there's one for files, in the Content Library file window and in the Files tab of Smart Content, and there's one for the overall product, in the Smart Content Products tab and in the Products list in Content Library when a product is not yet installed.
