Selecting a single light for Atmospheric Cameras for DAZ Studio

I'm trying to use Age of Armour's Atmospheric Effects Cameras for DAZ Studio to produce a beam coming from a spotlight (an AoA Advanced spotlight, in fact). There's an Advanced Ambient Light and a Advanced Distant light shining into the scene too, but I only want the spotlight to produce the beam.

According to the user guide I should be able to use an "Easy Volume" camera, set the "Accept Light Types" option to "Only category foglight", set the spotlight's category to "foglight", and I should get what I want. But it doesn't work. If I set the Accept Light Types to "All Lights", I get the volume effect from all lights in the scene, if I set it to anything else I get nothing.

Come to thnk of it, I've never succeeded in getting any of the AoA lights' "illuminate only those objects flagged like this" to work for me.

Is there some special trick that I'm missing?

Daz 4.9 and 3Delight, obviously.

When you go into Parameters, click on the filter tab and type in 'cat'

Because there are TWO 'categories' listings. Which is dumb, but hey. It's the SECOND, lower-case, 'category' that you need.

Type in 'foglight' there. Then set the 'only category foglight' and it should work like a dream.
