dae file crashes Daz Studio

Hi 

I have a problem when importing a dae file that I have downloaded from a Lego building site called mecabricks.com everytime I try and import the dae file I export from the site DAZ Studio crashes but if I import the file into Blender first then export it as a dae file I can then import it in to DAZ Studio with no problems.

the zip file got removed so you can go here to view the file open it up in the editor and then chose export from the file menu
