I am slightly confused: With DIm I got a directory of 10 GB of DAZ stuff.

a) Is it possible to make Connect recognize it?

b) Can I offline download all stuff for further usage with Connect to the same directory? I want all files to be available.

    a) DS4.9 will recognize it if it's in a mapped content location.  If you install a product with Connect that is already installed with DIM, Conne t will check if the files are the same and only download files which are different, but it won't delete the DIM-installed files.

    b) Do you mean the install packages?  You can save them for when you want to install them -- just save them outside of the Install folder, as the files in that folder get deleted after install.

    Ah, so with Connect I can download all files to an external harddrive and tell DAZ Studio to use the external directory for Connect?

    I want the files to be installed on C, but the installation packages to be on D to avoid downloading them later on again in case that I need to reinstall Windows.

    Store the offline install files on D; when you want to install them, copy the desired files (both the SEP and SEA files) to the Data/Cloud/Install folder on C.
