Toon Base T-Shirt textures not loading [SOLVED!!]

I installed the new 4.23 Daz Studio because I wanted to use the new G9 Toon Figures, but when I loaded the Toon Base T-shirt on the Base Anime Masculine, the materials don't load, neither the defualt blue texture (it's only black).
Any idea how to solve this issue?

You have updated the Genesis 9 Starter Essentials?
Yes, but I'll install them again. I'll write again if I keep having this issue.
I updated again the G9 starter essentials, but I keep having the same issue with the shirt. I have to say I don't have any problem with the rest of the clothes (male and female), only with the shirt.
This is what my Log says:

Any idea, guys?
First, let's find out a couple of things to make sure of, to see if we can noodle out what the issue is:
1) Are you using the Filament draw option? https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/9041351/#Comment_9041351
2) Do you have a Filament Draw Options Node in the scene?
3) Do you have at least one distant light in the scene?
4) Are you using a PC (and not a Mac)? (I believe that Filatoon isn't usable on Mac at the moment but they're working on fixing that.)
If those four are a yes, make sure you have these installed and UPDATED: Default Resources for Daz Studio 4.23+ (or whatever the current version of that is), Genesis 9 Starter Essentials, Genesis 9 Starter Essentials Expansion.
1.- Yes
2.- I don't know what is that? Could you explain me, please?
3.- Yes
4.- PC
5.- Where can I get the Updated Default Resources? I have installed G9 starter essentials and its expansion.
I want to add that I don't have any problem with the rest of the clothes (males and females) or hairs. Only with the T-shirt.
To load a Filament Draw Options Node go to the top menu "Create" and select "Filament Draw Options Node" (it will be near the bottom of the dropdown list):
As for not having issues with the other clothing, are you sure? Could you post a render of it, because looking at the skin of the image you posted, the shaders do not look right. So I'm wondering if you just don't have all the resources installed that are needed.
Do you use DIM (Daz Install Manager)? If not I HIGHLY recommend it as it makes installing and managing products so much easier. Do a search in there for Default Resources for Daz Studio and make sure you have that updated.
Here I attach a render. Like you can see, all the textures work perfect (skin tones, hairs, eyes, shorts and the female clothes). The only is the t-shirt, showing itself black. Do you have a link of the Default Resources? I don't get to find it.
I have updated the Default Resources and I keep having the issue :( According to the log file, the problem is a \src\sdksource\fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(2823).
Any idea for solving this issue?
That actually looks right (except for the shirt, as you pointed out), so I'm not sure if there is an issue with your resources or not. I don't think that the Default Resources can be downloaded manually, I have only seen them available to download via DIM (but I could be wrong on that, maybe someone else can verify if there's an alternative way to download the Daz Studio Default Resources).
Could you try this scene and see what it looks like to you (see attached scene DUF file)?
It should look like this:
A meesage appeared: "The files listed below could not be found: /data/Daz 3D/Genesis 9/Base/Morphs/Spearcarrier's Ghostfox/Genesis Transfer Poses/Transfer Genesis 2M to 9.dsf
When I click Ok, I keep having the issue :(
Yeah, that is very weird! (The morph you can ignore, it's likely a freebie morph from Spearcarrier that didn't get saved right or something). But it's so strange that the shirt is black still. I have no idea what might be causing that. As you shown, your other toon clothing looks fine. It's just so weird.
In the log file appeared these warnings:
2025-02-06 17:04:57.767 [WARNING] :: \src\sdksource\fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(6476): Node parent not found.
2025-02-06 17:05:01.161 [WARNING] :: \src\sdksource\fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(2823): Failed to follow node.
But I have no idea how to solve it. I hope someone of the Daz team can help me.
I'm sorry I couldn't help you find the problem. It looks almost like the geometry shell for the toon shirt doesn't have the right shader or something and is just showing up as black. If you hide the toon outline does it still show up black? (You can find the toon outline in the Scene Tab if you expand the shirt and click on the eye icon):
Oh! You were a great help, thank you so much for that! :) But sadly no: even hiding the outline can fix the issue :(
That's a bummer and a real mystery, considering the other toon clothing looks correct. :( I hope you're able to find the solution.
Select Base Shirt in Scene tab, go to Surfaces pane, is the filatoon shader correctly set ? as well as the material settings look good ?
Can you show a screenshot of your surfaces pane? Can you find BaseToon_TShirt5Stripes_BaseColor.jpg in the textures folder on your computer?
Yes, I checked out the Surfaces tab and everything looks correct, and I have the jpg file in my textures folder. (Plus the rest of the materials work correct with the rest of the clothes). I insist in the warnings that the Log File shows me:
2025-02-07 14:23:56.135 [WARNING] :: \src\sdksource\fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(6476): Node parent not found.
2025-02-07 14:23:59.079 [WARNING] :: \src\sdksource\fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(2823): Failed to follow node.
I think the problem comes from that dzassetdaz.cpp file, but I don't know how to solve it.
That is the code module that is reporting the issue, the issue it is reporting that it cannot find the parent of the current node it is processing; perhaps theer is a naming issue. I do note that you reproted a message relating to a morph transfer tool earlier - is it possible that you used some tool to (for example) trasnfer some morphs into the clothing and that the saved file from that is being found, and loaded, before the unmodified file from Starter Essentials?
The transfer issue was with the file was sent to me for testing the texture on the t-shirt, but it wasn't mine. So, no, I didn't save any morph into the clothes, and like I said before, I don't have any problem with the rest of the clothes, only with the t-shirt.
I reinstall the G9 starter essentials with the DIM and I keep having the same issue with the t-shirt only :(
Also, I noticed that the material is loaded correctly in NVIDIA Iray view. The problem is with the Filament view.
Odd ~~
Do you have the latest DS Public Build installed ? If you do, suggest you also try it in Public Build.
If you don't, order it in here https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta and install it via DIM.
I've installed it, but I keep having the issue sadly :(
Here I leave the last Log File, when I loaded the T-shirt, in order to someone can help me to detect the problem. I keep having the same warnings:

Finally I got to solve it! I had to load the FilaToon - General shader from the FilaToon shader presets. However, when I apply a new texture, it's neccesary to load the general shader again, because it keeps appearing black. So, I can say: issue solved!
I leave this solution in case someone else has the same issue in the future.
Thanks to the people who tried to help me, I appreciate so much your interest! :)
I'm really glad you found a workaround for the issue. It's unfortunate that the cause of the issue was never found, but I'm really glad you were able to fix it by applying a Filatoon shader to it. :)
Yeah, I'd have liked to know the cause too, because every time I load a new material I have to load the general shader too, but well, at least I could get they can be viewed in the Filament view. Thank you so much for all your suggestions. I appreciate so much your interest for helping me :)
The issue you had was really odd ~ but the warnings in the above log more likely resulted from that you did not select G9 figure before loading the T-Shirt. I could reproduce the very same log by doing so ~~
A final suggestion you may try : press F2 in DS, Clear DSON Cache Files. Reload G9 Toon figure and this T-Shirt, see what you'll get.
Yes, when I got this log file I didn't load the genesis 9 figure, but this kept happening even when I loaded the figure first. And I tried your last suggestion but it didn't work either sadly :( But it's okay, at least I found a solution. Thank you so much for all your suggestions! :)
