Category Weirdness

Hi,
Recently, I was looking at my list of user-defined categories and noticed that one was missing. It was a category for a set of fabric shaders which are in a folder called "Soft". I looked up the folder in my library and tried to re-create the category, but for some reason, when I click on the newly created category there's nothing in it - no shader files are showing up. I can successfully create categories for other folders and their contents show up as expected. I've tried exiting Daz Studio and re-starting it, but the "Soft" category files still don't appear, and I'm pretty sure the CMS is running, so what the heck is going on?? (see images below)

What version of DS? Valentina CMS or PostgreSQL CMS?
Version 4.9; PostgreSQL CMS. The same problem is occurring on both of my desktop PCs.
So the files do show up in Content Library > Daz Studio Formats, but when you try to right-click to create a category, the category shows up but is empty?
What is the file extension of the files?
Does it make a difference if you name the category something different and put it in a different location?
"... but when you try to right-click to create a category, the category shows up but is empty?" That's correct.
Well that's odd. I renamed the folder from "Soft" to "Softx" and tried again. Now the category contains the expected files. I didn't think the folder name made any difference but apparently there some strange exceptions.
The folder only contains .duf files - each one begins with the prefix "Soft_" followed by a color (e.g. "Soft_black.duf").
My guess would be that the category that got lost is still in the database somewhere, so when you try to use the same name it interferes with it. Are you using Daz Connect?
"Are you using Daz Connect?" - Yes I am, but I can recall having this category problem with previous versions of DAZ Studio. I can vaguely remember categories that I created in v4.8 which were empty as well.
Were you using Valentina previously?
"Were you using Valentina previously?" - No, never have.
